Jan's Monthly Recipe
Jan's Favourite
This cake is a real treat - it's all about the combination of flavors and moist texture. Wonderful with a cup of tea after some hard endeavours - such as clearing up the Winter garden ready for Springtime. When serving add a big dollop of fresh cream!

of baking.

We bake our famous bread, pies, pastries, and cakes on the premises everyday, using authentic recipes made from the finest ingredients and a liberal dash of love.

For those seeking some food for thought with their daily bread, our gallery features the very best of local talent, from exquisite paintings to handcrafted pottery and one-off treasures.

Drop in, say 'hello' and pick up some supplies (and maybe a piece of local art) to fuel your goldfields journey.

Exhibition Update
Artist of the month
Sue Janson
After careers in teaching and hairdressing, Bendigo based artist Sue Janson began her painting career with a mural on her lounge room wall.

This led to several commissioned murals followed by an invitation to exhibit at Manyung Gallery in Mt Eliza in July 2001.
More successful exhibitions followed and the overwhelming response to Sue's humorous images led Sue into the realm of self-publishing her works onto greeting cards and she is the only Australian artist to supply her Melbourne distributor, successfully competing with imported are cards from Europe and England.
Sue's paintings are owned by collectors around the world who enjoy and relate to the humour in her colourful works.
